Outlook Law Hosts Small Business Event Featuring Federal Delegation Representatives and SBA

On Monday, August 12, 2019, Outlook Law was pleased to host Congressman Young's staffer from D.C., Michael Songer, who listened and interacted with small businesses from across the state.  Mr. Songer's interaction was extremely positive and the office was receptive to the concerns as well as what was going right as heard directly from small businesses.  SBA was also very involved in educating small businesses on resources and current events as well as advocacy.

Christine V Williams, managing partner of Outlook Law, was a featured speaker at the Native Hawaiian Organization Association Conference in May of 2019.  Christine spoke on a panel with John Klein, head procurement attorney at the SBA as well as its suspension and debarment official, on upcoming regulation changes and current challenges facing businesses today.  Christine also spoke on the Section 809 Panel, which studied and recommended changes to the Department of Defense's Acquisition Policies.

Managing Partner of Outlook Law, LLC, Christine Williams, was a featured speaker at the Native American Contractors Association November 2018 conference.  Christine spoke on a panel with John Klein, Associate General Counsel for the U.S. Small Business Administration.  The panel was a spirited discussion between agency regulations and the implications of such regulations on industry.  Christine also serves in a national board in a volunteer for capacity for SBA, giving the industry perspective, and advocating for positive changes.

SBA’s Meagan Guerzon Meagan Guerzon has been a Senior Attorney in the U.S. Small Business Administration’s Office of Procurement Law since 2009.  Meagan advises and supports SBA’s Area Offices of Government Contracting with respect to size protest and appeal matters.  Meagan also advises SBA’s contracting officers and represents the Agency before SBA’s Office of Hearings and Appeals, the U.S. Government Accountability Office, and the Civilian Board of Contract Appeals.
