On January 31, 2018, John Klein of the SBA, and Christine Williams of Outlook Law, addressed some of the top legal issues/concerns facing Small Business firms today.  In addition, Christine incorporated some slides regarding joint ventures as a refresher to participants executing joint ventures.  These joint venture  slides were prepared, in part, by a SBA Business Opportunity Specialist (BOS) on what they look for when reviewing Joint Venture Agreements.  Here is the link for the slides.  National 8(a) Presentation 2018

Christine Williams of Outlook Law and John Klein, Associate General Counsel for Procurement and the Suspension and Debarment Official of the SBA, spoke on Federal Compliance in 2018 at the Native American Contractors' Association, held in Washington DC. John and Christine spoke both from the Government's perspective as well as a private practioner's perspective when responding to a Federal investigation. They went into compliance plans, what to do when something goes wrong, and how to prepare initial and overall responses to the investigation.
