The Interagency Suspension and Debarment Committee (ISDC) released its report on suspension and debarment relating to government contracting.  According to the report, which breaks the numbers down by agency, suspension and debarment actions increased but not necessarily in a linear fashion.  For instance, in 2020, the debarments increased slightly from the prior year, whereas the proposed debarments decreased. Reported suspensions decreased by half from the prior year; however 13 agencies reported increases in their total suspension proceedings.

Of note for many, the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) suspended 28 small business firms, proposed debarment for 26 firm, and debarred 29 firms.  For a full report please click here: https://www.acquisition.gov/sites/default/files/page_file_uploads/ISDC_FY_2020_Section_873_Report_(use_for_web_upload).pdf
