ABA PCL Section on Model Deviation FAR Part 19 Discussion Delivers Results

On October 21, 2025, the American Bar Association PCL Small Business Section held an open meeting to discuss the FAR Overhaul, with a special emphasis on Model Deviation FAR Part 19. Womble Bond hosted in DC to a packed room with approximately 154 more people on video conference. The lively fulsome discussion from the panelists, including Harold Mitchel—COO of Cape Fox Corporation, Joe Jordan—former Administrator for the Office of Federal Procurement Policy, and President and CEO of Actuparo LLC, and John Prairie, Partner and Leader of the Government Contracts Practice, Mayer Brown LLP—delivered results and, on occasion, healthy disagreements among those recognized and practiced in this field.

Christine V. Williams of Outlook Law, a Vice-Chair of this Section, as well as Tim McLister moderated the well-attended event. Sam Le of Sam Le Law, the Chair of the ABA PCL Small Business Section coordinated this well-received event.
